Winton International is an institution which has been dedicated to education
for over 28 years. Formed by a multidisciplinary team of
national and international professionals, our goal is to
achieve educational quality while meeting specific needs.
During these years, we have been involved in a great variety
of educational activities with innovative services. Just to
mention a few examples, in 1989 we were leaders in the introduction
of information technology as a teaching resource for our English
courses offered to children, teenagers and adults. In 1992,
we opened a bilingual library, where students and visitors
could sign out books, use the computers or surf the net. In
1993, we participated in a project from Trinity College England,
being one of their first examination centers in Argentina.
For almost two decades, we have been organizing trips to Great
Britain, offering intensive English as a second language and
teacher training courses. During our trips, we also hire English-speaking
teachers who travel to Argentina to be part of our staff.
In 1994, we patented a fast learning system, called 'Rapid
Progress System®', which was implemented to teach English
to staff from the Gendarmería Nacional, Bomberos Voluntarios
and the Policía Federal, who traveled to different
English-speaking countries.
Since our registration in the ‘Red Federal de Formación
Docente Continua’, Ministry of Education, we have become
actively involved in educational research in order to design
courses which are practical and useful . As a result, we
are a Teacher Training College (Instituto Superior de Formación
Docente Continua) and we offer teacher training courses
"with credits" (con puntaje) and many other programs related
to teaching / learning English and Spanish.
Currently, our main activities are teacher training courses using
information technology, tailor-made Spanish programs,
corporate English / Spanish lessons, online courses,
international exams and trips to Canada.
From 2005, due to the opening of the Toronto Head Office,
there is important news from Winton International regarding
Argentinean and international exams that lead to offer our
centres and candidates the best quality of standard and
services.
